  • Served as project manager within the internal advertising agency to develop and communicate strategy for a Global Brand Portal, a resource Staples marketing associates from around the world can use to access items such as brand guidelines, assets, and templates.
    1.         Accomplishing this required the planning and presenting at multiple meetings with Vice Presidents, Creative Directors, and other management as well as the coordination of a team of 9 individuals.
  • Directed creative and strategic effort to refresh the Staples Brand Site that required the writing of a full creative brief, the determination of the scope of the site, and the providing of fresh insight for the overall goal and purpose to multiple decision makers including the VP of Corporate Branding and Advertising.
  • Streamlined the analysis of feedback from the Staples Facebook and Twitter pages and implemented strategies for the most effective posting times and message topics.

    Cultural Trust Organization Bio: A nonprofit arts organization serving as a driving catalyst behind the ongoing development of the Downtown Pittsburgh Cultural District. The Trust serves as a performance arts presenter, a theater/galleries owner/operator, a catalyst for Cultural District real estate development and an arts collaborator.

    • Drafted and implemented marketing plans that, for the first time in the organization, included social media components in addition to new and unique publicity channels as well as a grassroots “word of mouth” advertising strategy.
    • Created press releases that effectively gained the attention of newspapers around the city and created buzz about upcoming shows and art galleries in the area.
    • Strategized for and participated in city-wide flyering publicity efforts which included establishing rapport with restaurants and businesses around the city.

    Standard Parking Corporate Bio: A leading national provider of parking facility management services, managing parking facilities containing more than one million parking spaces in hundreds of cities across the United States and Canada.

    • Drove over $60,000 in revenue through city-wide flyer campaign which included:
      1.        -- incentive creation (refer-a-friend, buy 3 get 1 free, first month discount, etc)
      2.        -- flyer design utilizing Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, and Microsoft Publisher
      3.        -- distribution strategy creation (locating high foot walking traffic areas and times, locating competing garages, etc)
      4.        -- physically passing out thousands of flyers
    • Gathered and presented market research data about over 100 cooperative and competing garages to key decision makers in the form of rate surveys, competition analyses, and potential parking/maintenance listings. This data was used for new business development.
    • Secured over $100,000 in revenue by contacting and connecting local businesses with area garages via telemarketing, serving as an intermediary between the parties, a salesman, and a customer service representative.

      Gained first-hand experience by promoting shows and events through social media (Facebook fan pages, events, etc.) and publicity such as the production of flyers and posters.

      Served as the sole liaison between the current actives, around 35 members, and the alumni, around 600. This involved the designing and sending of several newsletters, Homecoming event coordination and planning, and a redesign of the Omicron Xi website.
    • Webmaster -- Freshman Orientation Board 2010
      Designed, organized and maintained the Orientation Board website providing a valuable resource to both incoming students and their parents.
    • Collegiate Men’s Varsity Cross Country
      Was privileged to continue my dedication to the sport of cross country by becoming an integral part of the varsity team and helping the group, through teamwork and determination, to finish the season as conference champions.
